What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a system of medicine developed by a German physician named Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, MD. It is a safe and effective system of medicine, used by millions of people worldwide for more than 200 years. The medicines, prepared from natural sources, are used in extremely small amounts and are recognized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. They are non-toxic and when properly administered, can be safely used in infants, children, adults, and animals.
Dr. Hahnemann theorized after experimentation that all effective drugs produce symptoms in healthy individuals similar to those of the diseases that they treat. He conceived the idea of the “law of similar”, otherwise known as “Like cures Like” and coined the word ‘homeopathy’, which means: [homoios: ‘similar’ or ‘like’ pathos: ‘ suffering’.
